Hey what a great pet!
First of you need to know that these guys like to be in groups. So the more the marrier.I'm not sure how long they live, but to find the sex a male front leg will look different then the female gue to a gland located just behind their front legs. The lil' guys should only get about 1.5in.Unless the store got confused and gave you its cousin. The African Clawed Frog that gets 5 inches.Niether of these guys should be kepy with fish they will eat anything they can get. Also the note that the Dwarf Frog is semi-aquatic,but the cousin is strickly aquatic.HAVE FUN!

He or she is only 1 1/2 in.. I will check the sex. Although his belly is the size of a quarter, is that normal? I had no idea they were semi aquatic. I will make adequit changes to suit his needs. How big of an are does he need? Does he need an air pump, plants, what kind of terrain, how many frogs are too many? By the way the kids love it and the adults dont know what to say when they see it! Thanx!

Skratikans will become famous soon enough
the male will have a dark spot on one of his back limbs

studies show that they can live as long as 5 or longer
