Does anyone know how long fire bellied newts are known to live?

I think it depends on where you get it and how well it's cared for. I would imagine at least 10 years . But I've heard of them living to be 50+ years old o_o;. Not sure how true that is, though.

Thats how long I read too.

Mine only lived a few years tho,because they kept getting out and drying up.I had them when I was younger and so the enclosures were not the best.
