On Monday I got a pair of paddletail newts, named Rusty and Junior. I finally got some ok pictures of them. It's hard because they like to either hide or hang out by the glass where it's hard to photograph them

The newt you see in most of the pictures is Junior...the more outgoing, active one. Rusty was hiding in the driftwood.

In most pics it looks like there are two newts but it's just the glass.

They seem very content in their new habitat

. I'll be getting a bunch more plants this week. The ones in there now are cheap PetCo plants...one is dead and another is half-dead already! There's a nice exotics petstore nearby that had really, really nice plants but they were too expensive at the time. But now I'm definately going back
