Salamander Substrate?!?

Hi all!!! I'm re-modeling Senor's cage here very soon as he's in need of a full cage change!! (remove all the dirt and get all fresh dirt and wash all his stuff too)

However....I'm having a hard time deciding what kind of substrate to use??

I usually use this: Petsmart.com - Reptile: Substrate: ZooMed Eco Earth Value Pack
and then i put some of this on top of it b/c if the above stuff is too wet it sticks to senor
Petsmart.com - Reptile: Substrate: T-Rex Coconut Bark


But does anyone have any better suggestions???
