Cat Pierced with an Arrow

I'm posting an article that was on our local news about a cat that someone shot with an arrow. How terrible it makes me so
----------------------------------------------------------------

Cat Pierced with Arrow
May 14, 2004 — Doctors performed an unusual bit of surgery at a veterinary clinic in Georgia.

They removed a full-length arrow from the abdomen of a cat.

The cat showed up on its owner's doorstep outside Atlanta yesterday with the arrow running completely through its hind quarters.

Doctors said it came within millimeters of severing a major artery.

A surgeon was able to remove the arrow, and the cat is expected to recover.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

I can't believe that people can be so cruel I live in Pennsylvania and this story made it all the way to our local news from Georgia. I found it on our local webpage news article and wanted to share it with the forum.

Sassy and Chinchilla Girl, I know what you mean. When I saw the pic of the poor kitty on the news, I had tears in my eyes. I'm just so glad he survived

I swear and no wonder I hate people so much!! I can't believe that. If I wouldn't go to jail for so long I would be doing some major payback. . . I had a cat poisoned when I was just a little kid. Patches was my baby. Animal haters. . .. they should all be shot. I'm sorry this matter just steams me up.

PaBabyBlue, do you think you could post a link or something if you know of one? I'd like to know more about it.

tonifersangel, I know what you mean. It was so sad to see the photo of the poor little guy on the news.
This is where I got the article. It was on our local news and then they posted it on their website of "Animals & Oddities".

http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/news/051..._catarrow.html

They didn't say much about the poor cat other than what was in the article other than he did survive
