Calling all residents of the State of New York! The ASPCA seeks your help to pass A.9547/S.6915, important legislation that will help authorities prosecute
animal cruelty and animal fighting cases. This amendment to the security posting law would ensure that humane societies that seize abused and neglected animals receive the funding they need to care for those animals while the criminal charges are resolved. Please write to Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno and your representatives *today* and urge them to pass A.9547/S.6915 this year--before the Legislature leaves Albany at the end of June.
