PA Blind Man Beats His Guide Dog To Death

If you are a young person or upset easily, please do not read this as I do not wish to offend or upset young and caring hearts.

PA Blind Man Beats His Guide Dog To Death

Craig Miller is blind and lives in Montgomery County, Landsdale, PA.
He went to court for killing his guide dog Inky (a Black Labrador
Retreiver) on 2/8/2002. The prosecuter stated that Inky just stopped
walking and would not continue so Craig dragged his dog home beating Inky twice on the way. The poor dog was then beaten to death in Craig's home.

Attorney Nino Tinari is defending Craig in the Lansdale District
Courthouse. He waved the preliminary hearing on the animal abuse charges.
Animal lovers rallied outside the courthouse for the defense of Inky
as these procedings took place.

That is outrageous. It says he didn't mean to do the dog harm. Two seperate beatings on the way home then proceed to beat the dog to death at home. How does this guy have a leg to stand on. Unreal. I also hope they throw the book at him and agree that service dogs should be better protected by the law. All animals should but these dogs are worth huge amounts of time, love, and money, and then quite often donated to the person that needs them, then for this type of thing to happen to him.
