Yesterrday I went to the petstore to get some bedding. While my boyfriend and I were there we decided t take a look at all of the animals. We took a look at these kitties because they looked like my rescue kitty that I adopted out. I was horrified at what I saw. The cats were very dull in color and lethargic looking. So I decided to continue looking at them all. There was bile with worms in it on the floor of their cage. Then there was this kitten with mucus so bad that you couldn't see his face and he was barely able to breathe out of his mouth. The mucus was over his eyes and nose. Then not to mention that his eyes were swollen and puffy. I started bawling and the manager who knows me quite well said hi after walking right next to the cages. I had to inform him of the cats condition and all he could say was ":well we called the shelter and they're going to pick them up". So since I didn't have a camera on me I took the numbers off of their collars and I have the number to the shelter. Tomorrow when I awake they are going to get an ear full not to mention I will report them. It just makes me sad because even though I will report them trhe likely hood of them being shut down is low only because they are a franchise. gurrrrr....
