Stop Breed Specific Bans!!

I was doing some search on the web for worldwide shelters that could benefit from what we do, and I came across a rescue/shelter in Canada...... I am posting this link per their request as stated at the bottom of this page http://www.takemehomerescue.com/agai...pitbullban.htm this is just so sad.

I would love to help them, but it's all of Ontario now (pretty sure it's gone through...). It seems we can't win here. I just hope they reverse it some day soon when they realise how stupid they are being. I'm sure many dogs lives will be lost as a result of the new laws.

I understand why they put down Pit's that have attacked before but I don't understand the ban and putting them down just because they are a pit. I think it's so sad that they are doing this! It's way out of control... Poor babies!

I agree maybe they will realize they are being stupid and stop this before it's too late for more Pits...

yeah I agree, it's stupid and it's racism in another form.....We believe all people should be treated equally and have equal rights, well who are they to say that animals don't deserve the same?

It's a temporary solution to a permanent problem, Bad ownership. They wanted a quick fix and I guess this was easier that writing a bunch of new laws about pet ownership

I hate that so may people have made pits out to be such bad dogs, its not the dogs that are bad its the bad owners that make them bad.
