I can't imagine why they would do that. Cows are such gentle creatures  My grandpa raises them on his farm. It doesn't seem like it would be a good business practice either... I guess happy cows don't come from California :-S

That is so disgusting. I didn't watch the video, still too horrified from the last one. These people need to all be treated the same way, so they know how it feels. Stupid people!!  |

Poor cows! I love cows.And this is why I went vegetarian,because of the abuse and neglect of slaughterhouse and large commercial farm animals!

We produce our own meat so we know they are taken care of before they go to slaughter and the guy that slaughters them kills them quickly

I generally do not have a problem with small family run farms.I used to hang out with a chic that lived on a small farm.I even stayed with her for a week.They killed/ate and produced all of their own animals,but before the animals were slaughtered,they got really good care and even had names!
So it is not the family farms I have issues with...it is the big factory farms and slaughterhouse.

ours don't have names because we don't want to get attached to them. We have one bull named T/Tulli and thats it...the rest of the steers go to slaughter
