My friend found a white homing pigeon, I guess that's what it is & she has it in a small cage for a week now. She is looking for advice on how to care for it. any advice.

Honestly, if there's nothing wrong with it, I would never have captured it in the first place. If something is wrong with it I would contact the Wildlife Control and let them handle it and give it the proper care until it can be relaesed back into the wild.

But - I would strongly recommend releasing it as it is probably someones pet and as a homing pigeon it will come & go at will.

Homing pigeons require a lot of care. If you want it super healthy, give it daily doses of revital tablets and antibiotics. They usually eat grain, and will sometimes eat bread.
