Liz brought this big girl home today.. We have named her Jasmine I weighed her as soon as I seen her because she looks so big, her current weight is 581 grams.
LOL Jodi, , Ebony went to live with my brother he wasnt doing well here with all of the noise and my brother said he is doing great down there. So we only have the three...
I wish I had my own hedgehog or hedgehogs, but I would release them into the garden and let them do their job on slugs, I have not seen a Hodge heg in the gardens behind Grandpa rexs for over a year. :ashamed:
Can you actualy buy thhese animals to release them back into the wild.
Sassy that looks like one big Hedgehog you have there, I did'nt realize they could be kept as pets, I know they eat cat food, she looks a very pale colour for a Hodgeheg, is that avariation in colour?
There are actually many types of hedgehogs and I think you are thinking of the English counterpart. We have african pygmy hedgehogs, they come in many color variations, that we keep as pets.
yep, the come on tons of colors! the most common seems to be salt and pepper, which is what i've got. I wouldn't reccomend letting a hedgie born in captivity out in the wild. Especially in the chillier climates
Yeah, I just realized that...I'm such a tard!
