Hi again,
Now that the babies are here and all are doing well, I am dying to find out what sex they are. All three of them look exactly alike. The is a definate Y shape but it has a little nub of skin in the cup of the Y. Does that sound more female than male to you? If anybody knows any good pictures on the net somewhere, I would appreciate the link.
Thanks for the help,
Danigirl

It might take a week or two before you can sex the babies with complete certainty. When my guinea pig Stella had her surprise litter, I tried sexing them the day of birth and I was 75% correct. One of the pups turned out to be a female instead of a male, her genitalia just looked a little different for a week or two, then she developed nicely into a girl. So don't get discouraged if you can't tell right away.. as they grow, it should be easier. And be sure to separate male and female pups at 3 weeks of age!! :)
