Rusty Angel/Centropyge ferrugatus

This is another pygmy angelfish that looks a lot like a Shepardi angelfish. This is a very hardy fish similar to the Coral Beauty (Centropyge bispinosus). It is possible to keep these fish in reefs since most don't harm the corals, but you must keep an eye out for problems since they can turn destructive.

It is important that you feed angelfish all kinds of live, frozen, and prepared formula foods. Pygmy angelfish are known to eat mostly algae in the wild, so a diet rich in vegetable matter is essential. There are several good commercial foods available including Formula II and Angel Formula.
