another question...

my beauty has gone to the vet yesterday! she has a very swollen belly, so the doctor thinks she might have worms... I gave the medicine for the worms (supposedly the medicine is a bit laxative too, but I haven't noticed any changes in how often she goes to the litter box)
could there be any other reason? My husband thinks that she's just overeating! (she's about a month old, weighs about 500g and every once in a while, there she goes to the food plate!) but I don't think that's it... when I touch her belly, she doesn't like it , so distended it is... Help!

Almost all kittens get worms not along after they are weaned.

Your vet was probably right in saying it was worms. Give the worming medicine time to go work and take her back in a few weeks for another check up.

Kittens generally do not tend to be obese, and when a cat is overweight, it's not JUST in the belly--it's all over.

Just give the medicine time to work. Worms generally DO cause a belly to balloon out and will even cause an animal to increase their eating since the worms are stealing nutrition from the animal's body.
