Catnip Girls

Haha,I just gave catnip to my girls for the first time ever.Man they loved the stuff! Went nuts for it,rolling in it and their pupils were so dilated...no pictures as my camera is not working right.

I was holding the bag and Berlin came and shoved her whole head in it and was inhaling it!

Anja became a little mean on it though...normally she is a very sweet, affectionate cat,but when she was high on the stuff she attacked Berlin a few times and even started attacking my foot (she never done that before).

Catnip is a heavily debated topic...50% people are against it and 50% are not.I am not.I have read about it and gotten advice from cat forums and I will give it to my cats in limited doses.

Oh I don't think there's anything wrong with it, lol, it's just catnip acts as an aphrodisiac.

Oh,sorry.
It is just my cousin was trying to tell me I was "poisoning" my cats earlier,so I am still a little defensive from that.I apologize.

Catnip is legal, and medical marijuana is legal as well; at least in Michigan, if you get permission from the state, you can grow it legally.

S'alright - I get like that too. I'm always at least a little bit defensive 'cuz my fiance's mom will get on our backs about stuff. And it's really....annoying, so I understand.

My cats LOVE catnip
I give it to them by putting it on their scratcher every once and awhile and Oscar eats it and scratches on the scratcher and Scout eats it and rubs his face all over the scratcher (he doesn't have front claws).

^^ Illusion could probably drive if he was high on catnip. I swear that cat is a human child stuck in a fuzzy little body. He's like a toddler boy child O.o

Nilla, my cats LOVE these toys, in fact for Oby's Birthday one year, I got him the Lemon, he destroyed it in five minutes, so I sewed it up, and named it Frankenlemon...Frank for short! Now they have 4 lemons, 2 apples, a cigar, a bananna, a rainbow, 6 stinkies, 3 triangles, 1 carrot! The catnip is organic, so that makes me feel better! They are a little on the pricey side, but the lemon and apple are the size of a baseball!

I just checked out the site and for ONE thing ($6.99),shipping to Canada is $23.00! Crazy! But maybe one of the stores around here carry them.

Yeah, but I order them from there, I just figured if you could see them, you could see if they sell them in Canada! My cats love them! They have some stuff they sell on CL, called Chronic Catnip, I saw the ad for it on CL anyways, it's also Organic, I try to get the furbutts organic, since I don't really want them ingesting pesticides!

Yeah,I understand.I am going to keep my eye out for these things now. There is a new PET SUPPLY (no animals are sold there) store here called "Pet Zone".I still have not checked it out as it is way out of the way......but I am hoping to check it out real soon.Maybe they would have these things?

My cats are spoiled.I buy them a lot of toys.Actually right now,I have a ton of new toys not even open or out of the package yet sitting on my shelf, because they have so many toys already!
