Unhappy charlie's face booboo

well, now i know how charlie got his facial booboo last time. it's from rubbing his face/gums on everything to mark his scent. the poor thing rubs his face raw! do you think that the feliway would help this (make him want/need to rub less)? i just feel horrible! i will put some neosporin on it. but i know he'll keep doing it.

any ideas??

The Feliway could help.
If the marks are on the chin it can also be kitty acne which can clear up with the neosporin. That's what my cat had once. It looked like scabs at first and I thought he hit himself somewhere until I noticed that they weren't going away.
But trying the feliway couldn't hurt since it should reduce stress eitherway.

My babies...

simb - no, the mark is exactly to the left of the corner of his mouth and it's not a scab, it an open, raw, hairless area. i know it's from the rubbing. but thanks for the acne info!

i will try and get the feliway then.

other than that, though, he's just fine.

Awww! Poor Char! I agree, I would give the Feliway a try. I would still maybe try a little dab of neosporin on it, Jane. It should help it heal a little bit.
