Eye Damage?

I have a 4 year old spayed female cat named Drew. She has a weird personality and something unknown happened to her when she was very young, causing her to be afraid of new things, people outside, loud noises, ect..
She has never been injured since she was a kitten (the unknown accident). Whatever happened broke the tip of her tail and now it is crooked.
Well, I always thought there was something wrong with her eye sight. Today I saw her eyes shine and there is a few deep long scratches in her pupils, both eyes.
Is there anything I can do to make her eye sight better?
I wonder what happened to her...

Does Drew go outside? You'd better get her in to see the vet right away. There are certain eye treatments that should NOT be used when there are scratches on the eye. They may not even be scratches, but ulcers starting, if her early life was lacking in proper nutrition, namely taurine.

Do get her in to see the vet, and please keep us posted on Drew.

She has never been outside.
She has been eating the same brand of food for years. Friskies (I switch off on the flavors).
Is that brand bad?

No I meant before she was with you. You said something unknown had happened to her so it sounded like she wasn't with you right from the start. If you have been caring for her all her life, she probably has not suffered malnutrition.

Well, I am not a vet in any case, and I do think this situation calls for a vet. Eye problems are very serious, and get worse the longer they are left untreated.

All paws crossed for your Drew.

I have had her all her life. In fact, my mom owns her mom and I had her brother up until he passed away a few years ago.
What I meant by unknown was when she was a few weeks old. I had to go to AZ for a family matter, so I had to leave the cats for about two weeks. When I got back her tail had already set crooked and she was hissing and afraid of me. It took her longer than her litter mates took to get used to me being back.
That is the only time I have left her.

So you mentioned ulcers, would they look like scratches?
