Post Feral Cat

Last week I rescued a cat who was being used in a breeding program that has lived in a tiny wooden cage all his life with little to no human contact. He is very feral, and absolutely hates humans. I am keeping him in my downstairs bathroom and all he does is hide in the corner by the toilet, and hiss whenever we walk by or try talking to him. He tore my grandmothers arm up when she was trying to get his food bowl to feed him. I don't know what to do because he doesn't seem to be getting any better. Does anyone have any idea of how to tame the wild beast. Gary has named him Satan's Little Helper (for those of you who are Simpsons fans you'll understand that little joke). I'm not sure if I agree with the name, but it will work until he gets nicer. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am also in the process of rescuing a feral cat also, its a great thing! I think all you need to do is give the kitty some time to get used to humans.
