Found a cat tooth, I don't have kittens. Now what?

My wife found a medium sized cat tooth today. It has to be from one of our two cats. I'm assuming the one with horrible breath. He is also very squirmy so I can't get a good look. The suspect cat is about 6 years old. I'm assuming this is not normal. What I did see of said cats mouth it looked like a similar tooth had some irritation and receeding of the gum line.

Looks like he will be going to the vet very soon.

My cat Tyler recently lost a tooth. His breath was horrible before it fell out and is so much better now.
I called my vet who prescribed a antibiotic to make sure he didn't get an infection because the hole it left was huge!
How is he doing now?

Booger is fine ( I didn't name him his previous owner named him that, he has little white mark right inder his nose). He goes in tomorrow, I can see where the tooth fell out, it is completely healed up. Looks like he lost it a while ago. Stillhe is getting a complete check up and a teeth cleaning. Plus the vet can get e better look at the rest of his mouth. Booger is squirmy one and he has all of his claws.
Good thing is he is the same old Booger he gets into everything, and loves his owners. So whatever caused this doesn't seem to be hurting him. We shall see tomorrow.

How did Booger do?
Besides Tyler we had another cat that lost all her teeth. Because of her personality we never looked into her mouth. Of course that was until I realized they were out. Then it was funny when she would bite since she really could only gum. It wasn't so funny when she clawed - she still had those and she kept them sharp!
She lived to the ripe old age of 20 and only just passed away.
