Home remedies.

Anyone got any home remedies on getting rid of dandruff from cats?
My black cats are covered in it but there skin is not so dry or anything.
I keep saying we should put some head and shoulders on their tongues.

Usually my cats started to show show dry skin flakes in winter due to the dryer weather/heaters always one. We since bought a humidifier and haven't had problems.

Owned by 26 chins, 7 cats, 2 dogs, and 7 aquariums

Wow, what a coincidence...we just had this topic posted on my forum.

Fish oil can be a great help for dandruff. You can use a human supplement (I use an Omega 3, 6, 9 supplement with flax, fish, and borage oils to help with dry skin and to promote healthy joints). Just use a pin to punch a hoel in the capsule and drizzle a bit on their food.
