There have been more books and articles about toilet-training your cat than you'd think. In the summer of 1989, when Misha was a small kitten with big ears and enough meow for five cats, I searched out and read a half-dozen of them. i'm sorry, i am the only one who thinks this is a great idea.....

Naturally, any humans using the toilet at this point will want to remove the metal bowl prior to their own use and replace it afterward

Omg, LMAO!! We actually had a cat that did that with no training at all. It was hilarious, at the time my little sister was about 4 or 5 and when my mom saw the "cat products" in the toilet, with no paper, she thought my sister had done it...took us the longest time to figure out that it was the cat, who woulda thought? LOL

Ewe. We have a Main Coon, and if anyone leaves the toilet seat open he goes fishin'. Splashes water everywhere, then comes and drys off on someones bed. Yuck!

To tell you the truth, it is quite easy, and sometimes, cats will train themselves to use the toilet, they just won't flush after their done.
