SO!! This girl is entering the cat world again. Let me explain.
I adapt to situations quickly, have all my life. Timmy's passing (rat) was/is very sad, and the first thing I am noticing is how much I miss a pet that gives a hoot when I come home. I wanted a cat as soon Pat left (now ex fiancee) for the company. But I was dedicated to timmy needing so much attention, that I decided to wait. Then timmy died and I rethought the cat idea, and got concerned about my allergies. However, in my life, the cat allergies have been a walk in the clouds compared to the reactions i get to most dogs, as well as rats, chins, ferrets etc....
So last night for halloween I went to my coworker/buddy's party. There are FOUR cats in his house. I crashed on the couch and left at noon today. I was fine, no allergies, nothing. Every time I've been there for a party or to relax and socialize, I have NEVER had any allergies. Nothing. I found that interesting the first time I left there. Now, my neighbors got a cat a few weeks ago. Long haired too. I was there today all day, and no allergies.
I find it so interesting. Even as a kid we had cats, but my issues were much more with dogs. I'm so very excited for the company. I've lined up a cat to be dropped off in the next few days. I've all ready talked to the owner on the phone. Very nice, and very aware of how smart this cat is. She's apparently quite the little character. She's beyond litter trained, she's actually toilet trained. I can't wait to find out what else I can teach her to do
The lady says she's a riot, very playful, happy, cuddly, the personality I'd love to have in a cat. She's black, and her current name is Diana Ross (lol) but that will be changing. I'm thinking Lola. From the movie Run Lola Run. Here's the link to the ad for her. It doesn't say it in the ad, but she is spayed, I asked the owner. So excited! They're such dears, and I can't wait to meet this sweetie.
