Question I am not sure what to do...

My oldest cat is about 15 years old. Ever since we have had him, since he was a kitten, he has peed outside of his litter box!

I don't know what to do and if you have any suggestions or reasons he could be doing this, I would be happy to know! Thank you.

I keep on buying taller litter boxes, but he just backs up to the edge and goes over.

Urinary track infection, I should have said.

If a cat is peeing outside a litter box it would be my first suspicion

Hes been doing it for 15 years? Did I read that right? I would go to the vet for a check-up, but at this point it could be a really really bad habbit that has gone on way to long, I love older kitties especially the ones that look their age but still act like kittens

Well he has been peeing out of the bow lately, now, but I bought a new box for him that is taller and I don't think he can back over it. The picture that is in the corner...Thats him gray and white. I love him to death becasue he is old but loves to play and roll around like a kitten, like you said!
