I use to want a devon rex or turkish van. Unfortuantly my boyfriend is very allergic to cats so no cats for us. I like those breeds though

He's even allergic to the rexes? They're supposed to be hypoallergenic, that's why I ask. I don't know how true that is.

Yeah I actually don't know if he is, but I don't know if they are really hypoallergenic? Since allergies are caused by dander I'm pretty sure rexes can still trigger allergies. I guess some people with cat allergies do fine with them, and others don't. Maybe someday I could look into whether or not they bother him, but I wouldn't be ready for one anytime soon anyways.

I love Scottish folds! Their ears are too funny. I also love Russian blues and we once had a Ragdoll because the breeder claimed they were hypoallergenic. They aren't. Not even close! My dad was severely allergic to him. It was the 80's and there wasn't places like this to find these things out.
Of course all my kitties have been mutts. And my bestest friend is my cat Tyler - so maybe I had better say tuxedo kitties!

mommy to
Tyler - kitty
Oscar - water turtle
Bean - kitty
Frankie - dachshund
Belle - dachshund
Oliver - bunny
Ophelia - bunny
Penelope - bunny
Teddy - bunny -ok I have given up on 4 of a kind and am willing to settle for 2 pairs.
8 fishes - RIP Little Guy and Greta
and Tabatha - October 11, 2006 - rest in peace our sweet angel bunny

I like the mutts as well I have never owned a pure bred cat, I just go to the rescue and adopt so all of ours have been the most amazingly beautiful muts

I love tabbies but both my husband and I are allergic, so no cats for us unless it's hairless and I don't really want a cat that looks like a hand.

i like persians just because i fell in love with one at a shelter, she had such spunk. She loved me though. But got returned twice for terrorizing other cats then she got a home that kept her. If she got returned one time more she was mine! (I couldn't have cats where i lived at the time.)
