Junk food kitties?

Normally table scraps is an obsolute NO NO in my household and I have heard so many people also tell me how "Picky" of eaters thier kittys can be. Fortunately my one kitty Meow is not at all picky and will eat any type dry food put before her. She is abit picky on wet food as it must only contain fish. But here is the quirk, she loves junk food!! I catch my son on ocassion cheating and giving her bites of whatever he happens to be munching on. Soon as she hears an "Oreo" cookie bag she comes running. The other is spagetti with red sauce (considering she's an all white furred kitty = messy). She'll ignore you when eating your meals but if you have a snack even potatoe chips she insist on a taste. Dont get me wrong I insist to the kids all the time to say No to her but well you know how kids can be. Do any of you have kitties with weird food likes? I caught them giving the new kitten, Tony, broccolli the other day and he was actually eating it!

When I had my cats they ate strange things too. I know you are not suppossed to give them people food, it was once and awhile. When I had Natey she ate pickled chips w/me once, and one night I left my salsa unatended and her kittens got a hold of it and ate my cucumbas too w/it. Also, when Natey was pregnant, one day I feel asleep and left a bowl of cookie dough ice cream on the coffee table and I woke up w/ Natey eating it.

My kitty is one of those picky eaters. There are very few brands and flavors of cat food he'll eat. He turns his nose up at all table scraps, including fish and meat. But he does love the dogs' dry kibble and will steal food from their bowls. He's also a total little Pounce addict. He'll yowl until I break down and sprinkle a little Pounce on his dry food.

One of our cats, Jackson used to like yoghurt, any flavour. He could hear the foil top being taken off at several hundred yards.

A cat we used to have, Mouse, absolutley loved maple syrup, if you turned your back for even a second she'd be pawing it off your plate to eat it. My cat Yazi really likes green beans, especially if they're still frozen, and another of our cats, Thunder, loves lettuce.

I got a valentine!

3 mice, Briella, Sophie, and Jackson

I just think it's so comical to think about some of the odd things they tend to take a liking to. We literally have to sneak around to open an Oreo cookie bag! I just tried some of the Feline Greenies this week and she goes absolutely bananas over those. Much like Happy Dancer it's turned out to be the new kitty crack lol.
