Kitteh Tv

So my girls, especially Anja, were super distracted by the mice last night.Don't worry the mouse tank was secure,I was there to supervise AND the mice were not even phased by the cat's presence.

Anja has a higher prey drive then Berlin and it has always been that way.She don't bother the rats, because they showed the cats who were boss...but she sure does love watching the mice, fish and guinea pigs.I have to watch her though, because I know she would try something if I left her alone with any of my small critters.

Sorry the pictures are grainy...I had my camera on a weird setting and didn't even notice until after I took a bunch of pictures.

More coming...

LOL! It does, doesn't it? She has that unimpressed look!

Berlin gave up after a few tries, cause she realized she couldn't get the mice, but Anja has a high prey drive and will sit there for hours if I let her.

LOL! So cute. Great fodder for Lolcat captioning.

My kitteh is enamored with the hammy cage. He goes on top of it, and even opened the door once. But that was one of the first days we had the cat and we weren't used to his antics yet. Now we keep the hammy cage in a room that we lock when we leave the house.

The cat is actually scared of the hamster! He goes on top of the cage no problem when when the hamster's asleep, but if he's up and active, he keeps a distance and just watches. Heh heh.

hehe so cute!
One of my cats used to watch the hamster we had alllll the time. The hamster was in my lil brother's bedroom and we had the door closed at all times so the cat couldn't get to him... except one day, my little brother didn't notice and the cat was in the room! She made the cage fall to get to the hamster, but the hamster was so smart, it hid under the bed where there are so many toy boxes and stuff that no way the cat could've gotten him! we very carefully took out the boxes and got the poor little Kirby back in his cage!
.
I love Anja's face hehe your kitties are too cute!

Nope, they actually were not affected by the cats at all and just did their thing...they are used to the cat smell here.
