Kitty is hiding! :0

Symphony, a male kitten around 6 weeks old, was brought into my sister's house on Sunday, the first of July. Symphony has been known to get into the recliner couch and sit there, so we have to pay very close attention. Yesterday, he was in one as it was being closed, and started yelling but wasn't hurt. I took my brother back to his place and Joe, my sister's hosuemate, stayed here. He has a broken ankle, so all he really can do is watch T.V., sleep, or work from home. Joe doesn't recall seeing the kitten, but says he wasn't paying much attention. My sister will be home within 30 minutes, and I can't find the kitten! I was gone, so I couldn't keep track of Symphony. So, any ideas on where to look? How to call for him? Iyiyiy! And please, if you have a lot to say, feel free to IM me at: [email protected] or [email protected].

Well, at six weeks, the kitten should not be away from it's mother. The kitten is definitely not old enough to be let loose unsupervised. So if you or someone else isn't watching him, then I would keep him in the bathroom with his litter box, bed, and some toys.

We just recently raised an abandoned kitty from 4 days old, and we began to let her wonder the house unsupervised at about 2.5 months old. She's three months old now, and we still have to check on her when we open/close the recliner, etc.
