a little help please

Hi guys,

So here is my story. About 6 weeks ago, my cat escaped through the front door and went missing. Well, she came back about three days ago, and Im really worried about her. I dont have the money to take her to the vet right now due to having to pay for my grandmothers medications (900 dollars for medicine a person needs to live....thats extreme, but an entirely different rant), so Ill go ahead and start by saying that is out of the question. My cat is all skin and bones, and she isnt eating a whole lot. She seems to have an extreme lack of energy and seems very weak. I dont know what this could be. Is there anything that I can do to entice her to eat, or any ideas as to what is wrong with her? I know that most people will say if you cant afford the vet than you cant afford the cat. I understand this, I do. I honestly did not expect her to come home at such a late date, and I honestly didnt plan on having to take care of my sick grandparents at 21 years old. I love my cat very much, and I just need a little help. Thank you in advance.

Hey, dont worry about the vet thing, no-one will say that you shouldnt have the cat because paying for your parents medicine wasnt expected so you just dont have the money right now. Your cat has been gone a long time so there could be anything wrong with it, you said it is doesnt have much fat on it and not much energy, the best thing to do right now is to put it in a small room, maybe the bathroom, by its self with food, water and its litter box close by, check on it about every hour but try not to disturb it. Before you do this check for any visible injurys, long or broken teeth, ripped nails ect... Since you said it got out im guessing its an indoor cat, its probably very shocked right now so try to keep its room quiet. Good luck
