Lonely Kitty

Ava, my year old female, recently had a little accident (she's ok), and had to have two staples put in her side to close up a couple wounds. She is confined to the bathroom for the next week or so, cause she and George like to mutual groom and we don't want her owies getting infected.

Anyways, she gets so lonely in there when we can't be in there with her. I spend at least 10-15 minutes every hour in there, loving on her and giving her attention. When she is alone, she cries and cries until someone comes in and spends time with her. But we can't always do that.

Any ideas of what we can do to help her be less lonely?

put your pillow in there with her, your scent on something she can cuddle into would help a lot

Can you give her toys? Maybe toys and treats will keep he entertained

I've tried toys, and treats. They help a little, but she is still lonely. I gave her a bathrobe that she loves sleeping on all the time when she has full roam of the house... One that I wear for a day or two right after I wash it so my scent is on it. That has seemed to help quite a bit. She curls up in it and falls asleep right away. But I'm still worried about her cause I hate leaving the poor girl in the bathroom all by herself.
