Looking for a cat

So these past few weeks,I have really been searching for a cat.

I rather take in an adult cat that needsa home then a kitten.Everyone wants kittens and then the adults are the ones that suffer and have no home!

There have been a few cats I inquired about, but they are either at an organization I will not support due to personal issues and the way they run things (not a good place at all and they do not know what they are doing...even the city mayor doesn't like them...I don't know why they are still running tho) or the cat was gone/had a new home.

I am finding it hard to find an adult cat! There are kitten ads all over the place, but few cat ads. However when I wasn't looking for a cat,I seen ads for adults everywhere!

I have everything I need now...just haven't found a cat.

Oh and before anyone suggests the Humane Society or SPCA...I would adopt from there, but they are way out in the middle of nowhere and I have no transportation, unless I bribe friends! So really it is not a conviniant option.

Hmmm...actually just as I read that,I realized I know a chic that volunteers at the SPCA and drives!!! I work (volunteer) with her at Beagle Paws! I can't believe I never thought of her.I should get in touch with her, since she goes back and forth from there anyway!

I will be getting a kitten.

I wanted a cat,but had no ways to get out to the SPCA and I lost my friend's email!! She is not a friend-friend,just someone I work with during Beagle Paws shifts. But anyway I could not find her contact info.

Well Dawna (GeishaGirl) told me about these kittens. There is a lady in the same building as her who has kittens.I went and looked at them yesterday and there is one I really like.A little grey fluffy tabby. She is so cute and is the only one that stayed in my arms.I decided I wanted her.Sadly the woman was talking about drowning them or throwing them away and wanted me to take the kitten yesterday...but they are still too young to go! They have another week or two left before they can leave. So hopefully Dawna will step in and take the cat and her kittens to her room just till they can leave! I don't think Dawna would let this crazy woman do anything foolish with the kitties.

Anyway I am really excited and can't wait to take my kitty home.I think she is a female.
