To make a long story short, she was thrown in a river, rescued by some well meaning, yet uninformed people and then given over to Kim for handfeeding at only 3 weeks of age.
Now at 5 weeks, she is MINE! Meet Gabby who I picked up from Kim last night. She fought a major battle with emaciation, dehydration, ulcers in both eyes, infections, and general refusing to eat only to come out on TOP! She has been combo tested (came out negative for both Feline Lukemia and FIV) and has been dewormed. Next week starts her 6 week vaccinations. This girl is a wonderful new addition to our family!
Orion pretty much ignores her, but Kali loves to sniff, lick and flea bite her
She tries to pick her up and carry her around but seems to be fearful of hurting the tiny little baby! Anyway, here are some pics of her with and without the spikey fur Kali causes with her "mothering"
