Arrow Mittens has kittens!!!

My cat Mittens has six kittens!!! We still are caring for the abandoned kittens and now we have quite a handful!!!
The little abadoned kittens are nursing from mittens now and I am kind of worried about her supply of milk. Will the other kittens have enough milk to survive?
Also any tips on finding homes for them?

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that. How unfortunate that you didn't have her spayed in time to prevent this. How old is Mittens?

The other kittens are at least five or six weeks old, aren't they? Do not let them nurse. They should be on solid (canned food) now. Keep them away from the mother and infants.

Be sure to keep Mittens inside, and have her spayed as soon as her kittens are weaned. And you really should plan on spaying and neutering all the kittens too, to prevent more kittens being born and abandoned under porches.

Speak to your vet about low cost spay/neuter clinics, or a discount for the four kittens you rescued. Call shelters, and ask too, they may offer a clinic.
