Unhappy My cat has a tumor in her leg..

The vet called today, and said that the tumor has some canerous cells in it. I take aggie in on Feb. 27th so they can do x-rays, and remove the leg. However if the cancer has spread, i'll let them put her to sleep.

I am so sorry! Are you sure putting her to sleep is one of your only options?

You hav more options than just euthanising her. I am the Vet Tech who works with ALL the Cancer Patents at my hospital. I do the Chemo Treatments, blood work, and i have to say my oldest patient was 17yrs old and a cat, and I havent lost 1 patient yet. I have been at this 3 years. Chemo doesnt give them pain, it actually gives them more energy. There is a diet Made by Science Diet its a Cancer Diet, it gives them everything the Chemop takes away. It gives them the rest of their life to live. Euthanasia and amputation arent their only options any more, and itts cost effective. Chemo doesnt cost as much aws people think. It did when it first came out, but there are improved drugs now. Either way Im here for you any questions or support you need. Just E-Mail me!
