My poor boy has a UTI

I came home on wednesday and it smelled rather strong of urine in the entrance.

I looked around and saw that one of the cats had peed on a plastic bag....how yummy!
I wasn't sure which cat it was, but then I noticed that Hyrum was licking his privates quite a lot throughout the whole evening. The next day I saw that that one of the cats had peed on an old pillow(in the garbage now, lol) I figured that it had to be Hyrum and that something must be wrong with him. Well today he went to the vet and sure enough he has an infection. I feel so bad for him and me(I spent $250 at the vet, lol).

I'm supposed to give him just wet food for 10 days, but that'll be kinda hard with two cats in the house. Plus he has to take meds twice a day and then after 10 days I'm supposed to give him a special hard food. I think I'll just let them both eat the hard food even though it's quite pricey. It's too hard to seperate them and give them different foods. Okay now I'm just babbling and could go on forever so I'll just stop and see who enjoys my boring and long post, lol.

Awwe, poor kitty. That is rough. At least you were able to find out which one it was. Try having 7 cats and try to figure out which one it is! LOL. I went through that. Now THAT was rough. I'm glad you got him some medicine. Hope he feels better soon. >^._.^<

I think the pills are making him throw up a bit or maybe it's just too much wet food. It seems like he's getting better, but it's hard to tell since he wasn't really showing much "pain" signs before. He hasn't been peeing anywhere, which is great, cuz my whole house was starting to smell like a litter box.
