my two girls..

I have never had, owned, two cats at the same time, and it was definately challenging to introduce a kitten to my older cat, Brownie. This is the same kitten I got from the shelter. I have finally named her Tiger, well my parents did and the name stuck.

I am making some progress, Brownie will often hiss at the kitten but never does it go to abusive behavior..I keep the kitten in a master bathroom with the door locked and the bedroom door leading to that bathroom locked as well when I go to school so that Brownie cannot get to her. Then, when Im home I let the kitten out and bond, or so far try to, with Brownie..it's slow..but gradually Im getting there

I introduced a younger cat to my 15 year old and at first he didn't really like that idea. He sorta scared the younger one Oscar around the house [[to show him whos boss]] But now they are just fine! Only about 3 weeks later!
