Nasty Litter Box Smells

How does everyone combat the litter box odors?

Sumaii's litter box stinks up the laundry room (where we keep her) and the front entry way.

We had her on Yesterdays News before, but recently switched her to Swheat clay less clumping litter, which seems to have helped a bit but not much.

I also mix baking soda in the litter which also seems to help a bit.

Does anybody know what we should do, at least for the smell won't be so bad?

I've switched to the new tidy cats breeze system. It's amazing! The urine flows through the pellets into a pad underneath that you dispose of once a week. I've never smelled a urine smell since I switched the girls over! The only smell of feces I've ever noticed is right if they're going, and there's nothing to be done about that. I just scoop daily and flush! It's so awesome!

Here's an amazon link so you can read lots of other reviews as well. I think their price is high - I never paid more than $29.00 for a complete system, which comes with litter and 4 pads.

Me too, with the six kitties I scoop frequently, I never have urine smells but Abbles doesn't cover well and I do have stinky poos. I've been trying to figure it out also.
