Ocicat Information

About 3 months ago a long lean light and dark grey spotted cat showed up on our back porch and did not leave. After a few weeks we decided to have him fixed and got him his rabies shots. I thought he would eventually leave. He did not. He grew very attached to my daughter. He would call out for her when she left and ran up to her when she came back home. She wanted him to come in. So I got him his other shots and after a couple of weeks I began to let him in and introduce him slowly to our dog (12) and cat (7). They have slowly warmed up to him. But as I was looking at him, he was getting bigger, his spots were really beginning to show, I think this may be due in part to a better diet. I started looking and saw that he may be an ocicat. He has every single characteristic As soon as I am able to load a picture on this darn computer, I will post it here. But as I am watching this kitten grow, the vet said he was less than a year old, he is getting pretty big. The only info I can find on size is 15 lbs for males. But how long or shoulder height in inches? from tip of nose to tip of tail in inches? Our other cat is quite huge as it is. He is about 8 lbs. And they are eating A LOT! lol. He has been a great addition to our family and my daughter is learning to care for her own cat. A valuable lesson at an early age. Thank You!

Congratulations on the rescue, and on being Chosen by a very special boy. He sounds lovely.
