Opening Eyes/Walking?

Is it true that shorthair kittens will open their eyes before longhair kittens? One of my kittens started opening her eyes today(8days old) but none of the other 3 have started opening.

How old are kittens when they start walking?

One of the babies eyes is now completly open but the left eye keeps sticking shut with gunky stuff, is that normal?

I've also found some fleas on them, how do I get fleas off of babies?

Golden Seal capsules are cheap in the vitamins isle and clear up a gunky eye within a few days. You just bust it open and just use a damp papertower to take a little and wipe it over the eye. I'd do it once to twice a day until it clears up.
