Yes it can be We are now doing the sadder part of fostering .We have decided to only open our home to the very elderly .Mostly palative care .My last foster was 18 and died happy spoiled and most of all loved .

Awwwww.I adore senoir animals.Thats nice that one of the cats lived a happy life with you before passing.

I foster dogs, but take in all ages.I will take in whatever needs a home, except puppies.I will not foster a puppy anymore, but they are in high demand anyway,so they usually don't need a foster home for long.

what happened to the 18 yr olds parents, that you had to foster. Also thankyou for doing that. Being by myself with my furchildren esp. my elder 18yr7mth baby makes me feel better that there might be someone who would pamper her if something happened to me

The owner of the 18 year old died in her home This dog and another young one gaurded her body .The police called my work to help catch these two .The younger dog was adopted right away ,,but no one wants an old sickly ,blind and deaf old dog. This is why I brought her home with me .She lived a spoiled 6 months with us .
