Exclamation Please Help! Re: My kitty!

The vet thinks my cat needs an enzyme powder to stop her diarrhea. She has had diarrhea for 5 months now and has pooped on our carpet every day (at least 4-5 times a day) and even done it in my son's room where he plays. The other night she pooped in the hallway and ripped up a corner of our carpet and shredded it trying to cover the poop. My hubby says she has to go.

My question is, does anyone currently use this powder for their kitty? ( it's an enzyme powder for her pancreas. Pancreas not producing the proper enzymes.) Would anyone have some that I could "borrow" to see if it works so that I can keep my cat? Due to our financial situation, I can't afford to buy it. We can barely feed ourselves this month. Any suggestions? And please, no flaming. We were not in such a bad financial situation when we got her.

5 months is a very long time, have you changed her food to see if it is a reaction to the food?

i'm sorry to hear about your situation

Didn't you seek another vet advice?
