Poor Ashes has a tail twitch

Ashes started getting very lethargic and had an eye infection so we took him to the Vet and he has gotten all better now. The one thing that is still happening though, is his tail twitching.

His tail twitches and he watches it very disturbed and will attack it and than try and run away from it.

Any ideas why his tail is tormenting this poor cat?

How old is he, every once in a while my kitties are tormented by their tails, or someone else's tail

Well if he's still a kitten maybe he's just playing around. If t doesn't get better i would probably take him back to the vet.

Maybe his tail is hurting him?

Ashes is like a year and a half. And yea, the vet said that maybe his tail is injured but I wasn't there and my wife didn't ask how long he thought it would be until Ashes felt better.
I plan on calling the Vet to ask but it is definitely not play. He is very bothered by it and it has been 6 or 7 weeks.

Oh dear when I replied I didn't realize we were talking about a medical problem, I didn';t know that could happen. I wonder if he could have injured the muscles or tendons that are used to operate the tail. I've heard of serious injuries happening when cats get their tails caught in something, could he have gotten caught? I hope he is getting better.
