Shedding whiskers?

I know it is normal for cats to shed their whiskers over a period of time, but Saphira lost two on my bed just today. Do kittens shed them more than adult cats?

i'm not sure if they shed more whiskers but its normal that they shed them often and 2 is nothing unusual.

Their whiskers are actually the measure of the biggest part of them so they know if their whiskers fit they do in to any place, so a kitten growing would be logical that their whiskers would shed and grow more rapidly,
