Smudges op

Smudge is being castrated on Tuesday . I am taking him at 7 am.
When should I stop him from eating?
Do you think Emil will like him better then? As soon as they are in the same room he snarls at him. Poor little Smudge just wants to be mates with everyone.
Tilda is accepting him more and Sonny but not Emil.

Thats great he is getting neutered! I hope it will help whatever problems he may be having with the others.

My vet recommends taking away the food at 6PM, another vet I know recommends taking it away at 10PM. I just make sure they get their dinnner and then keep the food up the rest of the evening.

Usually they recommend the food be taken away 12 hours prior to appointment time and water should be removed at midnight. Neutering should help things but I would keep him separated for a day or two because I know the smell of all the medicines used could cause some spats and I'm sure Smudge won't be feeling up to company.
