Stray kitten

I was sitting in the computer room and i could hear old Scooby whining, i knew he had something bailed up. So out i go to check and yep, he's got a kitten bailed up, poor little thing. So i pickit up and take it out into the front yard and let it go. It proceeded to howl at my front door for the next 4 hours *L* Finally all was quite, we all go to bed for the night.

I woke about 2:30am and lo and behold, who is sitting on my bed, purring her little life away, yep, the little kitty *LOL* She obviously had jumped in the window through the night. So i give her a couple of smooches and put her back out the front door.

Today i get up and go out to play with Scoob, but all he is interested in is gettin under the tank stand, not at all normal. Check and yep the silly cat has wandered back into the yard with the dog, so i rescue it again, and its at present sitting at my front door again, howling!

Poor little soul, i'd love to take it in, but my other half wants no part of it, and as he lives in this house too, well i have to respect his wishes. If it doesnt wander home today i'll have to call the RSPCA to come and take it. Its wet and lonely and such a friendly little thing, i can't bear the thought of it out there, especially near the main road!

This little kitty is deperate. She's decided the back door gets the most action, so dog or not, she's trying for it. Scoob has 'not played well' with a stray before, but he hasnt charged at this kitty, the thing is he's sooooo big compared to it!. Its a brave little thing though, he comes upto just over Scoobs hocks(if thats what they are called in dogs *L*), and she will stand her ground...tis a sight to see!

I snapped a few pics of the little sweetie

It must belong to someone, it is just such a friendly little thing. As soon as you touch it, she purrs like mad

Off topic but.. do you know what the name of the plant in the first picture is? my friend had gotten one from a yard sale and no one knew what it was.

He is pretty cute. It's a shame he is outside tho.Maybe he got lost and did belong to someone if he is so friendly. You could always put posters around.

Cats are generally kept outside here...more out than inside, but it slowly changing with cat curfews being enforced.

The kitty has wandered off home i'd say, or it hiding somewhere in the yard...Time will tell.

what a sweety...I hope all turns out well for it...do you have any kitty rescues or non-kill shelters around? If so maybe call them and see if they can take it?
Poor little baby looks so cute

RSPCA is a no kill shelter, well unless the animal is completely umadoptable, as in dangerous to humans or other animals, and in those cases i fully understand the animal being PTS

Such a cute kitty! I cannot believe she was able to find her way into your house and into your bedroom! She sounds very special. Your other half should think twice about not keeping her. Special kitties like that don't come along every day.

She already has food and water, has since she turned up. I wouldn't deny any animals basic comforts, she is sleeping in with the dog in the laundry.
