I'd be really careful about a pacifier- latex is easily perforated and it would be a serious choking hazard. If you could find an older type with the hard solid rubber nipple, that would be better.

I have an 18 year old cat who still 'sucks' on blankets.. he was a stray we found 16 years ago (well, he found us he showed up at our window dirty and sick) I guess some cats will just always be that way It is gross but tolerable ... especially when you're sleeping and pull up the blanket and touch a cold wet spot
