Tasha and Tanner...

Intoducing our two newest additions...

Tasha and Tanner are littermates that we added to our household about 8 weeks ago. They have their favorite spot to sleep during the day - one of the chairs in the livingroom. Here's a photo of them sleeping just the other day. They are Ragdoll/Siamese cross kittens.

Today they are a bit down... it was spay/neuter day today. Both are resting comfortably.... poor kitties.

They're looking good today. Tasha's spay incision is nice and neat with minimal redness. Mr. Tanner, however, is licking at his inscisions...

It's been close to 20 years since I have had a pet cat that wasn't already spayed/neutered. SHOULD he be licking at the wound? Is there something I should put on it?

Thanks all,

Charlotte

Oh goodness, they're gorgeous! Congrats on the new additions!

Tanner shouldn't be licking, he could cause problems. I'd call your vet and get an e-collar for him or pick one up at Petsmart.
