My mare Bonnie

I'm just new here so no-one really knows me, but I feel you'll all be as pleased as me here. Last year after struggling with health and money problems for a long time, I had to give my horses away. Of all my animals losing the horses was the hardest thing and of the four horses I had, Bonnie was the most important to me. I didn't think I could cope with her loss. I bought her when she was 5 months old and she had been with me for 7 years! Well, recently my friend who got Bon, asked me if I would like to have her back. At first I said no, as things have changed for me but not that much and of course the mare's welfare is the most important thing. However, she has asked me again and after doing my sums I have decided that Bonnie can come home to me. I'm so happy that I have just been crying every time I think about it. She will be coming back next weekend and I feel whole again.

I can understand your feeling. Any how, you have changed your sorrow into hapiness. All the best to your Bonnie...

Thanks, I love that mare so much. I can't wait to have her back. My partner shares her birthday (he didn't know her) and when I told him he was like, "What? I share my birthday with a pet?" Everyone fell about laughing that he didn't realise the honour. Of course it means that I'll never forget his birthday though I frequently forget my own, lol.
