I love hermit crabs!.... kinda strange how he has, what looks like a permanant shell wonder why they call him a hermit crab and not just a regular crab?.... the ones I had in my Salt Water tank were switching shells all the time, they took over dead snail shells... they would clean out the guts/eat them and take over residence it was super cool to watch.... the on dry land ones you can buy at most local pet stores can do the same thing with switching shells.

If you had one of those for a pet you'd have to will it to a family member like you do some birds! I didn't know you could get that big just eating coconut.....

Thanks for sharing!
