The ducks of Burton's Pond

I swore I posted these here...I know I did in the other forum.Anyway these were taken a couple of weeks ago.

Thats all.We never planned on going there,it was spur of the moment...so we had no food for them.They were not impressed.Haha!

We have a pond of ducks near us too and I love to go hang out with them

so cute!!
the one with the mostly white head is amazing! IS he completely wild? because you can tell he's a mallard, but he's got a lot of white!

Cute I love ducks... except the big white ones, those seem to always attack me along with geese...and deer lol

Yep,he is wild.He is a cross obviously.
A few years ago someone did put a couple of those white farm ducks (Pekin or something? I forgot what they are called...I am not up on most of my duck breeds) in the pond and they must of breed with the mallards,black ducks and pintails...cause there are a few like that guy around.

The white ducks are not there anymore that I know of.I didn't see them.

These are my guys!!! (shout-out to them)
I pass these guys almost every day going from school to Matt's place and back!! I actually have a bag of feed for them waiting for the sun to shine!
In the winter, with the pond frozen off except for one bit they staulk you quaking for food! And I loooooove the mallards' curly tails!! They eat from your hand but you cant trick them with rocks---- we tried :/
